{A backyard potluck!}

The happy client is my sister, Dorothy...but she did print and assemble the Banner and Cake Stakes all by herself!

{a little background} First, I have to call Dorothy by her nickname, Dort. It's too weird to refer to her as Dorothy when I'm writing about her!

Secondly, J and I love Dort! She's been the loudest cheerleader on the Piggy Bank Parties' Cheer Squad and is our best customer. Besides being Head Cheerleader, Dort is also our "official" Guinea Pig. She is the complete opposite of computer savvy. J and I often do step-by-step tutorials over the phone with her and then she is required to write the steps down before we hang up! I give her a hard time but she truly helps us create user-friendly printables for all skill levels. {Thanks for all your feedback and support, Dort! We ♥ U!}

{back to the party} Dort hosted a farewell potluck for teachers at her former school, Emerson. The school's social committee organized the potluck and Dort's contributions included the location, the décor and the cupcakes. It was a simple affair but we think it turned out great! {I say former because Dort's retired--see the details from her Retirement Party!}

{designer tip} I also had a sweet time editing Dort's photos over on Picnik! Hop over and have some fun with their free photo editing software. It's very user friendly and you can do a lot of cute things easily. Maybe I'll send Dort over to test how easy it is! {wink!}
