{real parties} 80 years of life

We had the pleasure of styling a simple birthday celebration for an amazing woman named Gladys a few weeks ago. Gladys is a volunteer with our children's ministry at church and she always has a smile on her face.

The celebration was pulled together by a wonderful group of volunteers. Volunteers blew up balloons, brought plates and forks, Beth Heineman baked the cake and others showered Gladys' mailbox with 80 cards. The simple celebration was truly a group effort!

The festivities took place in a school hallway which our church shares with a Christian school. Needless to say, fluorescent lights are not the best lighting for pictures!

We created giant poms for over the cake table and a few small poms to finish off the Custom "Happy Birthday" Banner.

We also created Custom "Happy Birthday" Cake Stakes for the birthday cake. It was our first attempt at the three-row design and we were excited that it turned out so well.

The Custom "Happy Birthday" Banners are now available at the Market. The Custom "Happy Birthday" Cake Stakes will join the Create-You-Own product line soon.

Gladys, we hope you had an amazing 80th birthday.
You truly deserve it!

Stay tuned to Oink! for more inspiration...
