It's been an AMAZING day and an AMAZING week!
I hope you enjoyed our first party feature on Tuesday--I did!
The feedback has been amazing and the DEPOSITs are rolling in.
I'll be featuring another fabulous party chick tomorrow.
Today I'm bringing you a sweet lil' Valentine's party I designed
to inspire you using our newest party set...
I'm in LOVE with this collection!
Every time I added a heart-shaped Sugar Cookie to a piece
I was designing, a HUGE smile came across my face.
I also LOVE this party because it is so simple to recreate!
I created the backdrop using four things--ribbon, double-sided tape,
scissors and the Sugar Cookie Valentines Banner.
Step 1: Measure your backdrop. Step 2: Cut ribbon with scissors.
Step 3: Attach to your backdrop with double-stick tape.
Step 4: Cut out the Sugar Cookie Valentines Banner and
Step 5: Attach the banners with double-stick tape. Ta-Da!
I used our dining room windows as the backdrop but
you could use foam core, a mirror, a picture frame,
a piece of wood or anything you can attach ribbon to!
{If you'd like to see a step-by-step tutorial, leave a comment!}
Let's move onto setting up the table...
I layered a white eyelet tablecloth on a red one.
I placed the treats on the left side of the table at an angle.
Designer Tip: If you have a small amount of food but a large table,
place your food on an angle at various heights. It will trick
the eye into thinking the table is full of treats!
The treats are displayed on plain white dishes.
I created treat stands using upside
down bowls, ramekins and two sizes of plates.
All of the treats are from our local grocery store.
The cupcakes and frosted sugar cookies came with sprinkles but
I personalized them by adding one large heart sprinkle on top.
The beverage station, plates and napkins
were placed on an angle on the right side of the table.
My beverage choice was "Sugar Pie Honey Punch!"
{musical break}
"You know that I love you! I can't help myself!
I love you and nobody else!"
{musical break over}
An easy red punch recipe?
Add your favorite clear soda pop to Hawaiian Punch
or your favorite flavor of red Kool-aid!
I added 2" circle punched Sugar Cookie Valentines Cake Stakes
to the bottom of simple juice glasses using double-stick tape.
Your guests will receive a SWEET message
after they've finished their beverage!
I added a striped bow to a simple white pitcher
and placed it on a white plate.
{I'm in LOVE with the bow!}
Hank's Hint: Place a plate under your beverage pitchers.
It will help protect your tablecloth and catch any condensation!
I didn't have a lot of room to display plates and napkins
so I stacked the plates with the napkins.
Offer your guests a SWEET favor to
thank them for joining you!
Three marshmallow hearts fit perfectly in a
recloseable snack bag finished off with our

We believe that SIMPLE things can make a party
go from ordinary to EXTRAORDINARY!
Here are a few more simple tips...
Do you think Printables are too boring?
Add your own style to them!
Use a 2" scalloped circle punch on the printable.
Add a 2" cardstock circle behind it with a pop-up adhesive dot.
Attach to a wooden food stake and place in a cupcake.
Designer Tip: Unless it's a lollipop theme, disguise the cupcake stakes
or lollipop sticks or they will distract the eye away from your toppers.
Don't you want your guests to see how cute the toppers are?
Are your stakes too long for the size of the cupcake?
Cut them to size, add a ribbon or a piece of candy!
We added a large heart sprinkle in front of the wooden
stake which was visible above the frosting.
One of my favorite things to do is to create label foods.
Okay...I LOVE to add themed names to food!
Now you can add names to your food using our
They are just like the Fill-In Invitations...
just open, type and print!
Use them to create food labels, placecards...
