{casting call} contributors + sponsors + vendors

If you've been following Piggy Bank Parties on Facebook then you have undoubtedly seen our lil' teaser....

As many of you know, J and I launched Piggy Bank Parties a year ago as a squiggly lil' division of our custom stationery business, Autumn Writings. We recently made the decision to slowly phase out our local business to concentrate 100% on Piggy Bank Parties. Two reasons...

1. A pig can only work so many hours and after logging 300+ in 3 weeks this lil' piggy was fried bacon!
2. We LoVe U. We love the opportunities that Piggy Bank Parties has given us to do what we love and meet amazing fans and peers!

What's going to change? We'll be adding new "Create-Your-Own" products to The Market in the next few weeks including favor boxes, envelopes, cardstock, ribbon and anything else we can find around our lil' pig pen! We have 11 years of overstock which we'll be clearing out at Piggy Bank prices.

Next we'll add a bunch of "Create-Your-Own Supplies" in smaller quantities like 10, 15 and 25. Perfect for the do-it-yourselfer who doesn't have room to store 75 extra zebra boxes they didn't really need! We'd love to know what products you would like to see added by leaving a comment or sending us an email (see "Email Hank" button above).

Of course, we also have TONS of new invitations and party décor to add to The Market including Pucker Up! (as seen on Pizzazzerie), 6TEEN, Magic Trick, Fairy Garden and so much more!

Change is in the Oink! The biggest changes will take place on Oink! Our current blog was always meant to be temporary. We've had a blog designed on paper for 2 years but it kept getting pushed to the end of the "To-Do" list. Not any more!

The new and improved Oink! will include all the things you've come to love--party inspiration, tutorials, recipes and the long awaited return of DEPOSITS! Yes, we'll once again be featuring your parties and getting to know you a lil' better. Thank you to all who have been patiently waiting to have your deposit featured!

Sponsors + Vendor & Product Directory! We're also adding a limited number of Sponsors to the blog. We want our fans to have access to fabulous products but still be able to find the inspiration they're looking for without having to wade through too many ads!

In addition to Sponsors, we will be offering a Vendor & Product Directory. The directly will include vendors we have worked with or whose products we've used and loved. If you're interested in becoming a Sponsor or part of our Vendor & Product Directory, please email us (see "Email Hank" button above) and we'll forward additional information.

Contributors....Casting Call! The most exciting change is the addition of a few new members to the Piggy Bank Parties Crew! We've hand-picked a couple of new contributors....but we're looking for more!

Are you interested in inspiring others to create easy, fun and memorable parties on a Piggy Bank budget? Do you have simple and quick recipes that will "WoW!" a crowd? Do you love to create amazing crafts with everyday objects and a few pennies? If you answered, "Yes!" to any or all of these questions, we'd love to hear from you!

We are looking for up to three contributors that believe in our penny pinching philosophy. You will be asked to contribute 1-2 posts per month and compensation will be discussed if you are chosen to join the crew. Please send the following to us:

• Name, City and State
• A Short Bio (including craft, baking, cooking or party background)
• Party/Recipe/Craft Links: Please forward up to 3 links to posts you have written regarding what you would like to contribute to Oink!
• The Answer to this important question, "Why are you a good fit for Oink!?"

Deadline for Oink! contributor applications is Midnight (PST) on Monday, August 8, 2011. Our new contributors will be announced the week of August 15th.

We hope you're excited about the changes. We also have a few more surprises for you...but if I told you it wouldn't be a surprise! If all goes as planned, we will launch on Thursday, August 18, 2011. Mark your calendars!
